Relaxed End-of-Month Catchup
The Lads Lunch is an essential part of the BNI Avenues Chapter culture, specifically designed to foster deeper trust, camaraderie, and personal relationships outside of the structured 7:00 AM meeting environment. Held on the last Friday of every month at the conveniently located Loft Sports Bar, this is our most informal and relaxed social gathering.
Why We Hold the Lads Lunch
The Givers Gain philosophy is built on trust, and true trust develops through personal connection. This event removes the pressure of the referral ask and the weekly agenda, allowing members to engage simply as friends and colleagues. It’s a chance for our professionals—from builders and lawyers to accountants and marketers—to relax, share insights, and discuss business on a more casual level. This deepened rapport makes members much more comfortable referring high-value business to one another.
Event Format and Cost
There is no structured agenda for the Lads Lunch. Members simply drop in after the work week winds down to socialise. This is a low-commitment, high-value event.
- Time: Held in the early evening to transition from work to the weekend.
- Location: The Loft Sports Bar offers a relaxed, casual environment perfect for socialising.
- Cost: There is no entry fee or required cost to attend. Attendees are only responsible for purchasing their own food and beverages (which is completely optional).
